The season is not over!

That’s right folks, don’t put those clubs away yet. I have another one of those great Scorez 4 Syracuse to share with you. Indoor golf at Opti Golf in Destiny USA. It is a virtual golf experience that allows you to use your own clubs and balls.

You choose from 96 courses with levels from beginner to pro. It is certainly an experience worth having. Drive you ball from the tee onto a long, green fairway. there may even be an occasional bird flying over! Hopefully, you hit the sweet spot on your club and landed on the fairway, if not you could end up in the rough or a sand trap. That’s right, these courses simulate the real thing. There is even an opportunity to putt your way in for a birdie (or a bogey, for 3 putters like me).

I have frequently dreamed of the day I get to play St. Andrews in Scotland. Well, that day has come! That’s right, I played that course right here in Syracuse! It was a bit tricky getting used to the virtual experience but the course was an amazing experience. (Can’t wait to play the real thing!)

Perhaps you are more of a Myrtle beach golfer, or Big Sur, or maybe Augusta. If so, they have courses for you too.

There are courses from all places and all levels:

• Championship
• European
• Middle Eastern
• US
• and even some Fictional courses

Take a look at all the courses they have to offer and I am confident you will be intrigued enough to try it out.  You can’t go wrong! I mean, we talking Pebble Beach, here.

You will feel like you are out on the back nine with the sun on your back and chance for that elusive “hole in one”. Bring your pals, your co-workers or even your kids. This is a great out for any group. But wait – there is more! They even have Pros to give you a lesson and a caddy will carry your bag to the 3rd floor (don’t forget to tip them).  This is the next best thing to really being out on the links.

Of course this trip would not be complete without a trip to the 19th Hole. That’s right, they even have a bar that serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. They will even serve you at your “green”. Enjoy a couple of cold ones while competing or relaxing with a good game of golf.
